Tomato Transplants with Yellow Leaf Edges & Browning: Too Much Fertilizer? – TRG 2015

We like to add a lot of stuff to our gardens. With tomato transplants you can run the risk of using too much fertilizer. Fertilizer can build up and harm your transplants when they are in small cells and cups. They don’t get rain, so there is no flushing of the soil. Every issue with your transplants is not always caused by a lack of nutrients, it can be caused by too much. If your transplants have been fed regularly with a balanced feed… consider doing nothing when you see yellow edges.
