Three varieties of this type of gooseberry. They are used for cooking, pickling and juicing because they are practically inedible on their own. Of course, on their own is exactly how I’m eating them.I filmed three fruits at three separate locations:
1. Lao Gooseberry (Phyllanthus ????) Xam Neua Laos
2. Indian Gooseberry (Phyllanthus Embilica) Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
3. Star Gooseberry (Phyllanthus Acidus/Otaheite Gooseberry) Luang Prabang, Laos
