total cost of system including tent, fan, timer was $185. Cost of monthly electricity about $15 a month.
To date I have grown and harvested 2-3 inch tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, 4 inch eggplants, 2-3 inch carrots, 6 inch cucumbers, mini red bell peppers, garlic, bunching onions, bush beans, snow peas, strawberries, about 10 mini heads of little gem lettuce and 6 Boston leaf.
DON LET ANYONE TELL YOU THAT YOU CANT GROW INDOORS USING CHEAP FLUORESCENT LIGHTING!!!
