The community garden plot is open for 2016! I discuss cool weather crops and plant some broccoli, cabbage and brussels sprouts. I discuss tips on how to select healthy transplants from stores. Iron phosphate will control snails and slugs. I show you how to use chicken wire to stop rabbits. I also start an experiment on growing container plants in mostly wood chips (an experiment) and show you how my plot looks since I closed it down in December. It is here! The 2016 season.
