You will want to grow your cucumbers on some time of trellis system. In this video, I show how I start my young plant off in a sturdy square tomato cage and then use trifold cages in an open position to allow for the plants to stretch out and keep the cucumbers off the ground. I also added 3 round tomato cages to give the vines some where else to grow. And this is only July 3–this plant has more growing to do!
