‘Vine Borers’ or stem boring insects will dig into your zucchini, squash and similar plants. They often eat, lay eggs or both in the stem. The result is a mushy decaying stem that often leads to the death of the plant. However, they are really resilient plants. If you catch the rotting stem before it rots through, scrape it and dust it… they can survive. I show you how to save them. Here is proof 12 days later with new zucchini!
