How to Plant Temari Verbena

If you’re looking for a gorgeous show of color all spring and summer, you can’t go wrong with Temari verbena bred by Suntory Flowers. Dirk Young of Armstrong Garden Centers in California shows how easy it is to create large blooming patio pots or baskets with plants you buy in 4-inch pots at the garden center. He places three ‘Temari Cherry Red’ plants in a 10-inch pot. Cherry Red is one of the most popular varieties in the Temari series because of the white eye accent in the center of each flower. Once planted, place in full sun, water and fertilize regularly, and you will get a very showy plant in less than a month. For more information about Temari verbena, visit
