You can grow 1 kale or collard plant per 5 gallon container. They make for a great patio garden. Any container mix will work, you can check up my other videos for soil ideas. Kale can be started indoors really early and be put outdoors BEFORE the danger of frost is gone. They love cool weather and can handle a frost.
