Because of my success last year growing peppers, I thought I would experiment this year by trying different vegetables in pots.
Early in the spring, it was far too cold for anything to grow successfully, but when the weather improved, so did the plants.
Both the kale and the Sugarbaby watermelons grew to love their life in the pots, the okra somewhat, the squash kind of, and the cabbage was a bit of a bust. I think in larger pots, with a better start to the beginning of the year and things would have turned out much better.
