GROW YOUR OWN – Cabbage, Broccoli, Collards and Brussels Sprouts (OAG 2015)

In this video I show how to plant autumn/cold weather crops: broccoli, cabbage, Brussels sprouts, and collard greens.
I give you days between stages of growth to help you determine when to plant in your area.
I show planting the seeds, first true leaves, potting up into cell packs and initial fertilizing.
This should produce plants just like or better than the plants you buy in the late summer for your fall garden.

Later the plants will be set into raised beds, the big garden or in grow bags.

Following this way you too can grow your own autumn plants and do it with less cost than buying from the big box stores.
