Allotment Diary : Planting out the gutter Peas : New Pea-Cam-Vision .

I decided to plant out the peas that I’d sowed and grown on until the first leaves had emerged in the guttering into the garden bed.
It would have been easier to transplant them if I had shorter lengths of the gutter but they still came out in 6-9 ” lengths pretty easily into the soil furrow in the garden.
I made a furrow to correspond to the shape of the gutter so they’d sit in nicely to transplant.
So all in all a success, and things learned, I got them going earlier than sowing outside in the soil but next time I’d do it in shorter lengths to make them easier to handle.
