A fortnightly round up of the gardening progress from my Vegetable plot, polytunnel & Greenhouse.
The Tomatoes are growing away well now and the peppers, cucumbers & chillies ticking away slowly in the greenhouse.
In the polytunnel the Giant onions are growing well as are the show carrots and big carrots.
French beans and lettuce seem to have benefited from the compost tea added a week ago.
Outside the potatoes are finally growing well in the pots and the peas are getting bigger.
The beer slug traps have been effective in murdering plenty of the slimy critters.
So all in all, although about 3 weeks behind last year things are slowly starting to get going on the allotment.
