The latest fortnightly vegetable plot, greenhouse & polytunnel tour.
Things are growing so quickly now with the recent mini heatwave.
In the Greenhouse my tomatoes are over 6 feet tall with plenty of trusses of tomatoes on already.
Cucumbers still producing and the first sweet peppers starting.
Some of the chilli plants are full of chillies too in June !!
Up at the plot everything is growing well.
Peas are full of flowers and pods, the lettuce have gone crazy and the Garlic is looking huge.
Potatoes in pots still growing well and the brassicas are hearting up.
In the polytunnel the show onions are about the best I’ve had at this stage and the giant ones are growing big.
French beans have climbed up the poles and are now growing horizontally overhead.
And the first of what will be many courgettes have started.
So all in all everything seems great.
