Allotment Diary June 21 : Vegetable Plot, Greenhouse & Polytunnel Veg Gardening Update

The latest Fortnightly vegetable gardening update from my Allotment Plot, Greenhouse & Polytunnel.
I’m really happy with the tomatoes chillies cucumbers and peppers in the greenhouse and have a few fruit set already
The recent few days of warm weather plus a decent amount of rain has really helped to make the veg grow outside.
The potatoes in containers have flown along and are now fully topped up with compost and growing really well.
The Lettuce are ready to harvest now and the peas are producing the first flowers of the year.
Cabbages are doing well and starting to bulk out a bit.
The Garlic has come back to life after the rain and now looks very healthy.
The giant Marrows are ticking along and should start to grow quickly soon.
In the polytunnel the giant veg is doing well.
The Giant Onions are bigger than I’ve grown at this time before and the carrots are flying along.
Courgettes are producing fruit now.
I’ve been harvesting some of the lettuces recently too.
So far so good.

Happy Gardening.
