Another 10 day update from the veg plot polytunnel & greenhouse.As you can see things are growing really slowly due to the really cold recent weather.
The cabbages, lettuce & leeks are barely moving and the potatoes are just growing very slowly.
This year the peas have been a bit disasterous so far possibly due to the cold or maybe even some duff seeds.
In the polytunnel the Giant Onions are growing very slowly.
I’m trying some giant runner beans this year for fun and I’m going to grow a few sweet peas too.
Hope it warms up a bit soon.
