The final potting on of this years Show Exhibition Onion plants from 3″ pots into 1.5 litre ones.
I use a different compost made up of 2:1:1 Levingtons compost to John Innes to perlite to add some soil based compost and a bit more drainage to get them used to some compost more like the soil they’ll be planted out in in the polytunnel beds come early April.
So far so good, things are growing nicely, no diseases or other problems so far.
It’s a labour of love though, time consuming and tedious.
