Harvesting the first pot of the second early potatoes from the containers.
These are the variety Kestrel which have a nice taste and the larger potatoes make great roast potatoes and chips but the smaller ones can be boiled.
These were planted around the middle of April so have had about 130 days of growing time.
I was happy with the yield given the poor year but I think the fertilizer I used this year has made a difference.
