In this clip from “The Indoor Garden” TV series, Liz mentions a yucca species that lives outdoors in the Washington, DC area, where this was taped. It is a different species from the one that is sold as a houseplant. Yuccas that are bought as indoor plants won’t tolerate a freeze.
This was made in 1993 and the series aired for three years on WHUT-TV in the Washington, DC and Baltimore areas.
